Aggiornamento della Banned List di Wanderer e Paradox e Combinazioni Settembre 2025

Ciao Rulers!

Come annunciato qualche settimana fa, dopo aver visto i risultati degli eventi finali della stagione, svoltisi in Europa, abbiamo valutato se apportare o meno modifiche alla lista delle carte bandite di Paradox per il WGP 2025.

Dato il successo dei sovrani del Evil Blocco nei tornei e l'ampia varietà di mazzi giocati, riteniamo che lo stato di Paradox sia piuttosto sano.

Matelda e Valgott sono stati i sovrani più predominanti in entrambi gli eventi. Entrambi adottano strategie molto interessanti e diversificate. Mentre tutte le build di Matelda sono basate sui risonatori, alcune privilegiano i risonatori Cavaliere, altre i risonatori potenti e ad alto costo, e altre ancora si concentrano sui Guardiani per vincere la partita. Valgott, tuttavia, è un mazzo che perde punti vita, ma utilizza molte carte mai viste prima nel gioco competitivo. Mentre la finale del primo dei due eventi è stata Matelda contro Valgott (guarda caso, un incontro che potrebbe benissimo far parte dall’lore di Force of Will), è stato Nero a emergere vittorioso nell'ultimo GP della stagione, affrontando Matelda in finale!

Pertanto, non riteniamo necessario imporre ban severi ai mazzi. D'altra parte, abbiamo studiato attentamente le Top 8 di entrambi gli eventi e abbiamo ritenuto necessario aggiungere due combinazioni bandite alla lista, sperando che ciò compensi leggermente il numero di mazzi giocati a questi eventi e al WGP 2025.

Infine, abbiamo anche ascoltato i vostri feedback sulle nuove carte ATD. Stiamo apportando piccole modifiche alle quattro carte ATD che avete ricevuto più feedback sui social media. Queste modifiche saranno annunciate anche in questo documento e saranno effettive immediatamente.

Siamo fiduciosi che il metagame del WGP 2025 sarà vario, divertente e creativo come lo sono stati tutti gli eventi di questa stagione.

AGGIORNAMENTI PARADOX

Abbiamo visto molti Risonatori Demoniaci diversi giocare nei mazzi Valgott che non erano mai stati giocati in modo competitivo prima, come Demon Bet Collector e Demon of the Crimson Moon, tra gli altri. Abbiamo pensato di ridurre il livello di potenza del mazzo applicando una combo ban a queste carte, ma invece abbiamo deciso che, sebbene la strategia sia potente, richiede di tappare tutte le nostre pietre magiche turno dopo turno, lasciandoci senza protezione, essendo una strategia ad alto rischio e alta ricompensa. Ma avere una carta in grado di gestire i Risonatori dell'avversario anche senza la volontà di pagarla, con Valgott che è un mazzo che pesca molte carte, ci sembra troppo potente, considerando tutte le altre interazioni che il mazzo ha. Tenendo presente questo, abbiamo deciso di aggiungere queste due carte all'elenco delle combinazioni bandite.

Awakened Magic Stone, the Earth (MP02-056) + Queen of Velmardia, Matelda // Matelda, Incarnation of Virtue (ESD2-001)

Esistono moltissime varianti di mazzo con Matelda come sovrana. Alcune si concentrano su risonatori potenti, altre su risonatori piccoli, altre ancora interamente su risonatori Cavaliere e altre ancora interamente su Warden. Ma hanno tutte una cosa in comune: il potentissimo [Giudizio] di Matelda. Dato che ridurre la potenza del mazzo avrebbe significato rimuovere una delle sue carte principali, danneggiarlo troppo o ridurre l'efficacia del [Giudizio], abbiamo deciso di optare per quest'ultima opzione. Ora, anche se il [Giudizio] di Matelda è estremamente potente, dovrà essere pagato per intero, senza pietre da utilizzare per giocate più lunghe. Tenendo presente questo, abbiamo deciso di aggiungere queste due carte all'elenco delle combinazioni bandite.

AGGIORNAMENTI ATD 

Dopo un'analisi approfondita delle carte e il feedback della community sui social media, abbiamo deciso di ridurre la potenza di alcune carte ATD. Ora sono più in linea con i loro effetti e, pur mantenendo la stessa potenza, sono più vicine al livello di potenza delle altre carte. Il nuovo testo su queste carte è effettivo da subito (le carte WGP 2025 avranno questo testo stampato).
